The Universal Lateral Cabinet is available in four different configurations for storing different types of documents, and each of them offers an overall depth of 18 ⅞ to help you comfortably fit all your most important items safely inside each drawer.
Lateral filing cabinets differ from vertical filing cabinets (the other most common type of filing cabinet) by offering more overall storage space. The lateral design allows for greater horizontal space inside each drawer, helping you to store more documents in a safer and easier-to-access way, while offering additional storage or work surface on top due to the shorter design of the cabinet.
The bar pull offers a different point of movement than cabinets with a built-in (integral) pull, which may make them easier for certain users to grab and open the drawer. While the integral pull slightly reduces the footprint of the cabinet by reducing the amount of space taken up by the cabinet’s face, the bar pull allows for easier and faster opening or removal of drawers.
