In order to keep the seat on your Think clean and disinfected without damaging the fabric, we recommend using a solution of one part clear dish detergent and 16 parts water, mixed in a spray bottle. Any harsher cleaning products than this run the risk of damaging the fabric and/or the materials used for the frame and base of the chair.

Spray the surface of your chair evenly until damp, let it sit for 1-2 minutes, and use a wet/dry vac to remove the rest of the moisture before letting it air dry. (A similar process can be used for other Steelcase products as needed.)

Think has several points of adjustment available for sitters of all heights and postures, allowing them to sit more naturally and in a way that encourages overall health and comfort. The arms are adjusted by an optional mechanism mounted on either arm that can adjust height, width, pivot, and depth. Lumbar is adjusted by two handles on the side of the chair’s back, while the seat height is adjusted via a lever on the underside of the chair. Angle of reclination is adjusted via our Comfort Dial near the bottom of the seat. The flexible seat edge adjusts automatically as you change positions through the day.

Think offers two types of adjustable arms, depending on what options you select. While height adjustment comes standard on all Think chairs, allowing you to raise or lower the height of your armrests as needed, we also offer our innovative four-way adjustable arms on Think. The four-way adjustment allows you to change the height, width, pivot, and depth of each armest individually for maximum comfort no matter how your posture changes during the day.

Think has an overall height of 37.25” to 42” (adjustable), with an adjustable seat height of 16.5” to 21.5”, making it ideal for a range of preferred heights and postures.
